Businessman David Grove, owner of Warwickshire-based Grove Industries, has said that Birmingham Airport ‘needs to get its act together’. The airport is ‘not user friendly’ and its passenger drop off system is a ‘nightmare’, he added.
He spent 50 minutes to get through passport control after a recent trip because of a broken iris reader and 'poor passenger management' [something the airport is not directly responsible for], he said: ‘I know many people from Wolverhampton fly from Manchester because they dislike Birmingham Airport so much.’
