Gatwick car park retains Park Mark

Gatwick meet and greet airport parking company Help me park have met the high standards set by the Safer Parking Scheme and received the Park Mark award for a second year. The car park received their first award only a year after the opening of their car park in 2008.

A spokesman for the car park said that the award was a well deserved achievement, considering its impressive zero crime record over the last 12 months.

The Parkmark award is an initiative put forward by the Association of Chief Police Officers to help crack down on crime in car parks by offering reassurance to the customer that their car will be parked in a safe and secure car park.

To obtain the award, car parks receive an inspection from the Police, who asses the measures taken to protect the cars, including measures to deter criminal activity and anti social behaviour, doing everything reasonable to reduce crime and fear of crime.
