Man hit by bus near Gatwick

A man in his 30s is in hospital with severe injuries after he was hit by a bus in near Gatwick on Saturday night. The man, who has not been named, suffered serious head and arm injuries as a result of the incident.

The man was initially taken to East Surrey Hospital, before being transferred to St George’s Hospital Tooting on Sunday. The incident happened on Charlwood Road, Horley at 23:30 on August 7 (Saturday), and is thought to have involved an off airport car park coach.
