Monarch will operate additional flights from UK aiprorts to the Canaries over the Easter school holiday period, with more flights from Gatwick and larger planes for Manchester flights.
The holiday carrier will run further flights from Gatwick on 3 Fridays - April 2, 9 and 16. This will bring the overall number of flights operated each Friday to five. Larger jets will be used on connections from Manchester and Tenerife on the same dates, increasing the number of seats available by 46%.
Monarch managing director Tim Jeans said: ‘We have seen continued interest in services to Tenerife this Easter and the opening of these supplementary services and bigger jets will mean an extra 3,000 seats over this popular holiday time.'
