Rugby players in stag party mix up

Scotland's top rugby players fielded a surprise question at Glasgow Airport over the weekend, when they were mistaken for a group of men flying off for a stag weekend, the Daily Record reports. The mix-up happened as the group of thirty elite players were waiting to fly to Australia for their final training camp before the Rugby Union World Cup in New Zealand.

There were roars of laughter when a family approached the country's top rugby player of all time, Chris Paterson, and asked if he and his friends were off for a boozy break, scrum-half Rory Lawson revealled on his Twitter page. Lawson found it hard to believe the teetotal Paterson - with 105 caps and holder of the Scots points scoring record - had been mistaken for a party animal !
