BA is to bring a Boeing 747 out of storage in the Mojave desert are reintroduce it into service. The plane will brought back from the Californian desert later this month to be used on the Dallas route this winter.
The move will free up the Boeing 777 currently used by BA on its Dallas Fort Worth flights, which will be switched to the lucrative New York - Heathrow route, increasing the number of flights it operates each day from 6 to 7. The reintroduction of a mothballed plane is a sign for the recovery of demand for flights at BA.
