Jersey Airport parking fees up 16%

The cost of parking at Jersey Airport will increase by 10p to 70p per half hour and the short stay car parkg and 70p per hour in long stay from next month. A spokesman for the airport defended the 16 percent increase, saying it is the first time the cost of car parking has increased since May 2009.

The area alongside the access road leading to the departures terminal will continue to be a free pick-up zone. This allows drivers up to 10 minutes free waiting time.
