Park Mark awarded to Robin Hood Airport parking

The South Yorkshire Police’s safer parking scheme has backed Robin Hood Airport parking. Chief Superintendent Tim Innes visited the airport this week to hand over its safer parking award.

The scheme was established by the Association of Chief Police Officers to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks. The Park Mark safer parking award is granted to those car parks that have passed a risk assessment carried out by police officers to ensure that they meet specific guidelines.

Being awarded the Park Mark shows Robin Hood has put measures in place that will deter criminal activity, and that it provides a safe and secure environment, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, covering all of its 400 airport parking spaces.
