Air Berlin will operate flights to Salzburg from Stansted during this winter’s ski season. The new route four days a week - taking off from Stansted at 14:10 each Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - will operate from December 2 until March 31.
Unlike most budget airlines, Air Berlin does not charge passengers extra to take ski equipment on this route. Passengers also benefit from a 20kg baggage allowance, allocated seating and free food and drinks.
Salzburg will be Air Berlin’s sixth destination from the UK. Other routes include Dusseldorf, Paderborn, Nuremburg, Munster, Hanover from Stansted and Paderborn from Manchester.
